DALAG is the Somali word for harvest — the moment a farmer's hard work pays off. We chose this name because our platform exists for exactly that goal: giving every smallholder farmer in Puntland and East Africa the intelligence they need to get the best possible outcome from every growing season. DALAG Agri tells farmers what to plant before they plant, warns them when a market is about to flood, tracks live prices across Somalia's biggest wholesale markets, and sends bilingual SMS alerts in Somali and English to any mobile phone — no internet required.
